Hi, wondering if anyone could clarify a couple of things for me?

I currently have a Help to Buy isa with about 8k in it, my girlfriend has a Lifetime isa and will max that out for the next 2 tax years.
Thankfully I am in a position that my parents are willing to help us out using a family springboard mortgage in which they tie up x% of the house value for 5 years in an interest paying account as guarantee of the mortgage on my house.

If I go down the route of the family backed mortgage, can I still claim said bonus for buying my first home or is that then lost?

Also, from what I can see it is worthwhile for me to move 4k per tax year into the LISA over the help to buy ISA as the limit is higher and also home value limit is higher as well? We are looking to buy around this time next year.

Thanks
Dan

EDIT: also is it possible for myself and my partner to contribute on top of the 10% deposit locked up by my parents in order to bring the LTV down?

Try Graham at Martland Mortgages (01704 808286), he does family & 'unusual' mortgages so will probably be able to point you in the right direction.
