Superior Semi-circular Canal Dehiscence

The title should say Superior Semicircular Canal Dehiscence.
Are there any fellow PHers afflicted with this? It’s quite rare.
For those unaware of it, it’s a small perforation at the top of one or both the inner ears creating a third entrance for sound to enter.
I was diagnosed two years ago confirmed by a CT scan.
My symptoms are
1. Hearing internal sounds very loudly (autophony). Your own voice, chewing, neck creaking. It makes talking loudly in a pub for example very difficult. Some people hear their eyeballs moving.
2. A feeling of ear fullness on the affected side and occasional brain fog.
3. Loud noises such as a whistle cause a feeling of vertigo.
4. Pulsation tinnitus. I can hear and feel a vein in my brain throbbing adjacent to the canal most of the time. Anything like a heavy meal or red wine that makes my heart pound accentuates it. This can affect sleep.
Some people have much much more debilitating symptoms whereby it can ruin their life. I’ve seen a consultant in Birmingham. There’s an operation available involving removing a section of cranium by your ear, levering your brain up a little and capping the perforation. I may wait until the symptoms become more severe!
