Any pointers would be great, trying to sway them to leasing but they are concerned about transferring a private reg.

Any pointers on the correct model/engine would be appreciated.

The one extra they really want is parking assistance/camera!

Why not get a low mileage one that's a couple of years old & just extend the Manufacturer's Warranty in a couple of years tiime if your parents aren't doing big miles the saving will be quite significant:

2018 1.0T Fiesta Vignale

I'd say the only real engine choice for them is the 1.0 ecoboost. I'm assuming they're not looking at the ST!?

Most models will have reverse camera niwvid think, but if buying new they can just specify it as an option so no real point going too far up the range. 1.0 zetec with park assist should do.
