Fender Play lessons

Does anyone in here use this? Any good?

My music teacher, for bass guitar, seems to have gone awol during the Covid crisis and has not been heard of for a while. I'm drifting a bit learningwise and looking for alternatives until such time as he resurfaces.

Yes, I’m using it and think it’s good (although admittedly I have little other to compare it to). Did the free 3 months intro offer then since have paid for a year (with a 50% discount code they sent through if I remember right).

The lessons are short and well structured, a combination of demo / play along videos and then tab or music sheets with a metronome feature to follow.

You can switch between music styles and instruments; my daughter is using it for ukulele also therefore on the same subscription.

Cool, thank you. Signed up last night and going to give it a try. It was 20% off yesterday, so signing up for a year works out at only £6pcm. Can't argue with that, and it will give me something structured to follow rather than just noodling about.

Think I might give this a try.
Had lessons for a while but relocated so no teacher anymore.
I have watched umpteen videos from the likes of Marty Schwartz, Steve Shine and numerous others. I know quite a few chords in my head but my fingers don't always connect to the brain (stiff fingers due to age). I have tried strumming (ok) finger picking (can't hit the same strings twice with the same finger), playing a tune (can do it the first time but the second time it's a mess). Maybe a serious set of lessons would get me going again.
Does the Fender lessons also cover musi theory? I'm trying to understand what I'm playing and how it's constructed too?

I don't know the answer to your specific question, but search "Signals Music Studio" on YouTube. Most of Jake's videos cover a wide spectrum of guitar-centric music theory.
