Hi all, looking at buying a van which unfortunately has some minor dings in front of the rear wheels, wondered if they look something a smart repairer would handle and if so how much do you think it would cost? A shame as apart from these small dents the van is in good nick!

If you want a 'Ding-less' van, buy one

...but if this van is really cheap, or can be haggled to really cheap coz its dinged; buy it and have a smile on your face coz you got it at a fraction of its value coz of a few dings. If your van is one of the many on the roads that's rarely washed, no-one's gonna see em under the dirt anyway.

Use AutoTrader or similar to establish what a van of this make, model & age is worth; if you don't know. Having a print out in your hand of a similar vehicle at a cheaper price can also be a good bargaining tool.

It will never be perfect but a decent smart repairer could take that out so it was barely visible from more than a couple of feet

I'd pay a PDR guy 150 to see what he can do before you went anywhere near a smart repairer.
