I think they do, but MrRotty says otherwise, and this debate has entered the realm of family legend - it gets resurrected every so often, usually when we've been drinking! We have two cats, but we still can't agree!

whilst were awake, does chewing gum only lose its flavour on the bedpost overnight, or if you set your alarm for 3.00 am and relocated it to the bedside table, when you woke up would it still be minty fresh?

Define what you both consider to be lips? Sometimes the answer is in the question.
