Remote control car

[Takemeaway]

Not sure which forum to post in but I’m looking for recommendations for a remote control car for my 11 year old son.

Nothing spectacular but something that will be able to buzz around the grass garden and with a decent battery life - must be rechargeable and fairly robust.

Don’t want to spend loads as this isn’t something hes shown an interest in (yet). Budget is around £50 - there’s hundreds to choose from on amazon.

Tips appreciated!

My lad wanted a RC hoercraft but most the reviews were crap.

So we ended up with this.

Battery lasts about 20 minutes, works on the beach and water fine, great on grass and seems fairly indestructible so far. You might want something more car like though?

FTX vantage is your best best for £100.
Anything below is going to be toy grade and difficult to repair.
If you do want to go cheaper, Bangood is your best bet.
