Replacement wing mirror glass ?
Discussion
The mirror glass on the wing mirror on my 09 v8v convertible recently fell out when i closed the door. Presumably the adhesive was weakened over the years and the force of the door closing just made it give way.
Its only the actual mirror glass / plastic thats gone, everything else seems to be in place and functioning. (see attached photo)
Is this something i can purchase and do myself ? If so could someone recomend the part i would need, ive seen some OEM mirrors going for £100+ but that feels a bit unnessacery, would be open to a patent part, given the presumably low tech nature of a peice of mirror.

I am told its a Volvo 2005 era v70 glass - worth checking prices... Its only the actual mirror glass / plastic thats gone, everything else seems to be in place and functioning. (see attached photo)
