Was just wondering if any of your powerful Director types found any value in being a member of the Institute of Directors?

I've been thinking about how to develop the next stage of my career, which I'd like to see as moved to non-exec roles in circa 3-5 years time, once we've built and sold the current business I'm part of.

It's struggling a lot at the moment. Most people aren't directors and apart from using their offices for meetings in London (very nice!) I'm not convinced they are the organisation they once were or think they are. I worked with them a few times.
