Early Repayment Charges

Hi,

My mortgage is on Santander at the moment and rate increases in a few months so I am looking at new rates.

Santander have an ERC of 3% which is harsh.

Anyway to get around this ERC if remortgaging elsewhere?

I'm getting better rates saving about 30 quid a month with Natwest looking around.

The ERC will expire on the same day as your fixed rate expires.....

You would advise the solicitors the date your ERC expires and the date you therefore want to complete....
