Helicopter tape / 3m ventureshield

The button on my new jacket is starting to mark my motorbike tank, just above the tank protector.

Is general helicopter tape the best thing to use? I’ve always had good success with 3m products, so is ventureshield the ideal tape?

Size I’m needing is 100mm x 50mm. Can I peel it off at a later date without marking the paint?

Any advice appreciated, I know nothing about this.

It will just peel off without damage.
You can get bike specific kits (tank or complete bike)
Can be a bit tricky to apply to complex areas but if you need just one specific area, better to buy some material and just cut what you need.

Thanks caley. There’s a few folk on eBay selling samples/ off cuts. I’ll get it ordered tonight.
