Was this guy a PHer? If so, I presume his mates all chipped in with a few groats to pay the inevitable Gendarme beer-fund he ended up contributing towards about 30 seconds later! :cop:

Awesome sounding car and a highly amusing moment for us bystanders! :biglaugh:

he was camped right next to us in the airtrack site. revved his engine really high, sounded amazing. my brothers mate then decided to rev his diesel modeo (115bhp!!!) in similar style. cue another diesel mondeo following suite, and lots of laughing among the people there.

i didnt see the guy with the holdens face, but my dad did and said he didnt look very happy, obviously didnt see the funny side!!

sound of that engine was amazing (the hsv btw!!!! )

Quality - CHEVY Rules - I only just missed out on major grief from 4 of them (special forces type one apparently!) at Arnage - helped having french bird on the back shelf (I shut up and did what she told me!)

That rego sure looks like it's one of the Holden HSV Forum blokes, V8 HSV,I know him well, and yep it churns out huge bhp from the supercharged lump. It sounds as good as it looks too.

It also has 600lb/ft of torque at the rear wheels (340lb/ft at 1200rpm). Sounds even better than it looks..... at Full chat its like riding along in a NASCAR race. LOUD is too small a word. But the best noise for me is the supercharger and dump valves letting of the pressure on the over run..... Amazing.

He did see the funny side by the way, face might have been because he was suffering from sunstroke

Ps. Dont think hes finished tuning it yet....

I was stood right next to where those pics where taken by the looks of it (flogging my t-shirts) and it was class! Did anyone else see the Holden ute (blue) down there? Big V8 up front, Air con, and a massive load capacity – my ultimate Le Mans trip weapon of choice for sure!

The Ute owner was Paul, bought it a couple of weeks ago, plans to mod it too.

Just out of interest, did you get a fine?

I was sooo tempted to light up the rear tyres but the gendarmes were pulling everybody even for a tyre squeak

Excellent!

Great to see somebody got some pics. Cheers Trackside!

I missed the whole thing.

I was sat waiting down the road for him to come down. All I here on the radio (after the noise of the HSV) was...

The gendarmes got Will!

Nice work!!!

Wonder what they'd have made of that 'buzz' you performed on me coming back home!

I did see the funny side, in fact I thought it was hilarious, my only problem was sun stroke from Thursday.

Every time I tried to buy a PH t shirt they were sold out.
