How do you test a Lamba Sensor ?

Looks like i've got a faulty lamba sensor, is there an electrical check that can be carried out ?

Believe its making the engine run very rich, like
150 miles per tank of fuel !

they can be checked by a resistance and voltage ill post figures tomorow

i tested the ones on my BMW with a blowtorch.

You take em out and put them in a vice with a volt-meter connected across them.

You apply blowtorch until they are a light cherry colour.

You then move the side of the flame to them and away and the volt meter should rapidly change back and forth.

(Disclaimer, overheating can damage them)

sorry i havnt had time to pick my info up but try
www.lambdasensors.co.uk, this will give a rough guide in to testing they are titania 3 wire red,black .white, but i think 0 to 5 volt i think but PLEASE CHECK WITH A WISER SORCE.
blow torch seams to make sence.
