Is this a humble brag? I would love to be paying just £140 for bike insurance.

Try Footman James and their classic insurance, just added the 996 to my classic policy for a very small amount..

Try Peter James. Cost me £58 to add the Bimota to my classic policy and they’re a really nice company to deal with!

Bennets have done better than everyone this year so everything has ended up with them - two R1s, a TTR and a KTM enduro. Carole Nash did a couple last year and they couldn't get close this time, and were also being a bit picky on the dirtbikes and making out they needed super-specialist cover.

Underwriters on the R1s are Axa, Zenith for the dirtbikes.

How long have you been a customer with Bennetts?

I've used them for a few years now and have a few bikes insured with them.
I gave them a call after receiving this year's renewal letter and I managed to get a healthy chunk knocked off after speaking to someone.

From my experience the do have good customer service and are keen to try and retain their existing customers.

Yep - I have to agree, I've been on and off with them quite often in the last 36 years (how the hell did that happen? yikes) and they seem give the best customer service - they also paid out in 9 days when my R1 was stolen in 2014 (underwriter Axa).
