Break out 'rooms' in Zoom/MS Teams

[xx99xx]

Is there a way of splitting a phone/video conference into several smaller private groups and then allow the leader to rejoin everyone to the same single conference at the push of a button?

Thanks. I see that requires a pro account. Is there a free platform that has this functionality? I doubt I'd get approval for anything other than free. Don't need that many participants, maybe 50 max.

50 is quite a lot.

Are you sure the free zoom doesnt do breakout? Have a look

Hmmmm, possibly. I found the required setting in the menu, as per your link. Will have to test it on a group of volunteers and mess about with settings whilst on the call and see if it works.
