So here is my new 35,000m Renault Megane R26. Its my second one and I thought that as I upgrade it subtly you may want to see how it goes.

Bought just before lockdown my only concern is that it’s in absolutely perfect condition. Barely a mark on the paintwork and some lovely upgrades which make it look like this. Given my last one was a hoon/track slag and one you could drive like you stole it this was a bit of a concern for me. Stunning liquid yellow paintwork and mint condition made this quite a different beast! As did the price!

It was bought standard around 2 years ago and the next owner did most of the upgrades you see here. Key ones being:

• Rear seat removal and yellow KTEC half cage
• Race seats with yellow harnesses
• CAE shifter
• Removal of the trim above the window line and painted in metallic black silk
• Gramms lowering springs
• OZ alloys
• Battery relocation to the boot and removal of A/C
• Remap to around 275bhp
• FMIC and new induction etc.

Great colour, some nice mods - although I’d have kept the AC!

Gorgeous in liquid yellow.
I like your mods, that should be excellent on track.

Always been a fan of these, they really do look great.

I had a 2002 1.5dci years ago but the less said about that, the better.

lovely, seems a shame though that such a low mile minter is modded

Perfect (aside from window trim and A/C removal IMO).

Just spotted the photo with the harnesses.
Is it better if the harnesses behind the seat to the harness bar are crossed over to help reduce driver/passenger movement? I’m asking as I do not know the answer but have seen them crossed on other cars?
