As per the title really. What battery conditioner for my 997 911 C2S would be good?

TIA

We've got 5 CTEKs (couple of which are around 15 years old) which have been running pretty much 24x7 without issue. Never have to worry about a flat battery, even when something's been standing for 6 months (e.g. tractor during winter)

I ordered a CTEK MXS 7.0 but due to a balls-up at the supplier they ended up giving me a NoCo Genius 10 instead (costs about £20 more and is 10A vs 7A). As I can't compare it with the battery charger I didn't receive I couldn't say if it is better or worse than the CTEK, but I'm very content with it, and on spec and features it seemed to be equivalent.

There are plenty of accessories for both brands for permanently mounting a charge point to the vehicle with battery status indicator, which I can definitely recommend for ease. On a car that's going to spend most of its life hooked up to the conditioner that might not be as important as you'll be checking all the fluids each time you take it out so what difference do two crocodile clips make? But for me, with my cars doing minimal miles at the moment it's good to pop the boot every couple of weeks, see what the indicator is flashing and then deciding if it's worth putting it on the charger or not.

If you get a bluetooth enabled monitor, you can check from the comfort of your armchair.

That’s exactly what I do. The Ctek Bluetooth monitor is nice.

My CTEK MXS10 failed during a recent power 'brown out'. I replaced it with a NOCO Genius 10. Very happy with it so far.

Both my CTEK 5.0s have failed just out of warranty, the 3.6s and 7.0 are still going strong so now trialing a NOCO to comapre.

My ctek is 8 years old, out of warranty. It works fine but the only issue is the mode selection button. It is a plastic button with a small “spike” that fits into a microswitch on the pcb. It became a bit hit or miss. It is, apparently, a known weakness. I opened and cleaned mine and it is ok now. I think it is wear in the “spikey” bit that fits into the switch as using a pin works every time. If/ when it goes again I will try sorting a longer “spike”. Ctek do repairs but at a cost! I don’t think they sell spares apart from cables.
I use it for regular conditioning and only to recharged a battery with it once.
