Front Suspention

I am currently restoring a 1998 Ultima Sports.

Can any one tell me the origin of the front ball joints.

I thought they were from a "Ford Scorpio Ultima," funnily enough!

Sorry try a Transit Van acutaly..... top ball joint is a Transit track rod end....

I thought the top were ford Transit and the lower were Vauxhall

Wouldn't you think it wise for the factory to just come out and tell us the part numbers? Its not real practical to order these from the factory when you live in the states like some of us. Its the boots that often need replacing. Anyone got the steering rods or rod boot part numbers? Mine have worn over time.

any idea as to which vauxhall for the lower, due to there size i thought they would be off something commercial!!

If it’s the same as the first Ultima’s that lee noble designed then that is already listed on the site in the history section.

they have changed since then, they were bolt on's. im thinking vauxhall omega or carlton........
