Horrific.

Had a very similar experience with their sugar free liquorice gums.

Bought a packet at lunch time and consumed most of them in short order as a mid afternoon snack.

A short while later the rumbling started and I spent most of the rest of the afternoon in trap 2 at work.

Things calmed down so I decided to brave the journey home. I had to stop at just about every petrol station and mcdonalds on the way home. The commute is usually about an hour and 15. This one was over 2 hours. It was possibly one of the most stressful journeys I have every been on.

I was very windy for a couple of days after too.

It’s not just Aldi stuff - seems like sugar-free Gummy Bears have a similar effect.

Some of the reviews are hilarious laugh

hehe

Google sugar free Haribo on Amazon and read the reviews, it’s a similar story there.

I'd read the warnings on sugar free products before but didn't realise how serious they were.

Some of the Haribo reviews on Amazon... rofl

I particularly liked the one who said he's a lifelong Christian and thought it was God testing him when he consumed them on a flight. hehe

I had a few of the delicious strawberry and cream flavour ones yesterday. And a fairly fiery Thai curry for my tea.

Am now afraid. Very afraid.

I made that mistake once with a pack of Aldi's finest sugar free sweets, I had a pack whilst driving home then went for a ride on my motorbike, thankfully leathers can be hosed out hurl

The consequences of eating sugar free sweets was once described as like "funneling the niagra falls through a straw!"

I ate half a box of them once, definitely a good way to clear yourself out!!

Debating whether to do it again as it was so funny sprinting past the missus every 10 minutes!
