what do you think to this?

Sounds like a fairly generic grunge tune in the pattern of Dinosaur Jr, or maybe a post-hardcore act, hiding behind a slightly tricksy time signature and a few jazzily voiced chords and some slightly experimental orchestration?
In general I don't either the song is as cunning as intended, and I don't think the artist is as clever as they are trying to convey themselves as? The song doesn't really meld together for me. The Strat part is too high in the mix, and played too sloppily, to allow me to focus in on the lyrics. I find myself searching for a hook or something to get my teeth into, but instead there's just a new texture thrown into the mix. Vibraphone, string section, oboe (?) solo, etc. Its as if the artist wanted to be considered a cult act that nobody 'got' at the time, just by pushing complexity for the sake of it.
Having listened to the song in full now, I don't remember any part of it really.
