Whats it like to drive. Well, Im no expert on Alfas or cars but I'll do my best.
Have a Jaguar Project 7 so I'll compare it to that as they are similar in BHP and speed, will give you a idea as well
Alfa 520bhp Jag 575bhp Both rear wheel drive, one V6 one V8.
Project 7 straight line is more terrifying and wilder, definitely a bit quicker and more torquey
The Alfa feels very in control and linear even in race mode with traction off, very tactile, steering is pin point (reminds me of my focus RS Mk1 track car which is set up for 50/50 weight distribution with loads of fancy trick bits on it)
The interior of the Alfa and the carbon seats are really a lovely place to be, feels very German in build quality but not in style, everything is well placed, the steering wheel feels great in the hand, its all just lovely!
The sound is nice but not over bearing like the Jag which sounds like its ripping up the tarmac and sucking up squirrels and children and spitting them out the back.
I can't fault it right now, only driven it twice, tonight I gave it beans in Race mode with the back end out and it was controllable and not frightening, the P7 is frightening and not forgiving.
Could see myself doing a trip abroad in the Alfa, fast capable, carries 4 people and luggage. In Eco mode its quiet and surprisingly good MPG, around 35-40mpg.
I really can't believe its a Alfa!

I got Fangio at Reims for the plaque.
Did a 1000 mile trip to Cornwall and back to gently run the engine and gearbox in (hence the Caravan in the background!), faultless. The steering is impressive - supercar grade in my experience.
Looking forward to exploring the performance now that i have some experience of the vehicle.

Nice. Yes I can't fault it either, the gearbox is amazing too, works well with the Ferrari engine that isn't a Ferrari engine! Enjoy.

Very nice Sir. Could well be a better buy than the GTA based on numbers produced/cost, although I’m sure you‘ve just bought it to enjoy which I’m sure you will!
I was also thinking that. AIUI the F1 is about two thirds of the price of the GTA. The F1 doesn't get the ostentatious rear wing, the wider track or the half cage but it does get the front winglets and a list of stuff which I don't know whether the GTA has. To my taste the F1 seems to be a much more pleasant car.Is this the first Sauber badged road car?

The F1 was £89,000 which I thought wasn't bad for a car that's rare, carries four/five people with luggage, has 520bhp and can switch from a normal saloon car to a track day toy. Is this the first Sauber badged road car?
Believe it is the first Sauber badged car.
Time will tell whether it's a future classic but it seems to have all the right hall marks.
If the stickers aren't your thing, can always be removed.
Such a good car. It does look an impressive colour scheme. Sure you will have lots of fun.
I'd like to hear the Akrapovič exhaust system, I imagine it has a sharper sounding crack than the standard? I have the remote control bypass system fitted by Alfacare which is useful for choosing noisy or quiet start ups.
