A really shame
I much prefer the early Fleetwood Mac with Green in the band
I saw him play at The Firestation in Windsor, early 2000’s I guess, could still play

Sadly, never got to see him play. So sad that he withdrew into his own world all those years ago when he had such talent. RIP buddy.

A sad loss, but it could be argued that he died in Munich in 1970. Missed seeing him in his prime in 1969 because I was hospitalised after a car crash the night before. Finally saw him many years later with the Splinter Group. Excruciating. Many enthusiasts of the ‘face melting guitar solo’ would do well to listen to his early work.

Great player, so much soul. Such a sad and troubled life though at times. Used to love listening to "Rattlesnake Shake". More recently I've discovered that some of his work in the 70s was actually really good.

Underrated but immensely influential. RIP Greeny.

This takes me back, Paris, New Years' Eve 1968 not long after Danny Kirwan had joined - he was 18 then (in the mauve t-shirt on right).

Even if you don't like the song/music you have to admit the French crowd are amusing.

A sad end to a sad life. There was a documentary on TV about 6 months ago (no doubt it will be on again in the next week)
A true blues musician lost to drugs in the 70's, he struggled on through life and came over relatively content in later life.
It's not the deaths by drugs, think of the likes of Peter and Syd Barratt.

I watched a documentary on Fleetwood Mac a few months ago. Even to this day, John McVie gets very angry and emotional about that Berlin "thing".

Danny was a master on guitar - I could listen to him all night as much as Greenie.

Danny did some work with Tramp (band) during 69 (Mick was on drums).
