Audi A5 seat tilt problem.

Hi, my drivers seat tilt mechanism on my A5 coupe has broken. The seat will tilt forward but not slide, I have to slide the seat forward by using the leaver under the seat which is annoying to say the least. Is this something I can repair myself or is it a dealer fix. Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Thanks for any suggestions.
