Missed this at the time but a week back Twitter was all a ttter about Naked Athena.

Tl:dr version: Portland protester decided to show The Man (or policemen in this case) what contempt an empowered woman holds the male patriarchy in by getting all naked and in their grill. She got given the moniker Naked Athena — a friend describes her as a ‘light-skinned person of color and outspoken feminist’.

Some commentators have suggested that this may not have been an awfully empowering thing to and da Feds may have just been enjoying the view.
Not helped by the man carrying the camera having on his cv shoots with playboy...

So are we at peak woke yet? I have say (though admit to not being present at the time) it all feels a bit ‘67, Summer of Love vibe. The weirder and whackier coming out to play..

Did it achieve its aim?
Did anyone get hurt?

If the answers are "yes" and "no", then fair play to her.

There's already comments from other females that she's showing her 'thin privilege' and the police aren't taking action due to this so perhaps they may get 'real' female protesters join in as well, can't see the police treating them with the same restraint tbh.

What aim do you think it achieved?
