Bremont Boeing 747
Discussion
I think they’re pretty good, the 747 is the bremont Boeing ti GMT with the 747 picture on the front, they do a 787 and and E3 and some other types also.
Bremont make lots of these tie ins with different branches of the forces and other aspects of aviation.

I think you can order one from them or buy it second hand?
Generally the watches don’t hold their value as well as some other brands but if you’re not selling it or buying it second hand then it won’t matter?
As a watch company they get a mixed reception sometimes because these numerous tie ins are a bit artificial as in they’re not issue watches like the old Rolex GMT (issued to pan am pilots) or the omega speed master (issued to astronauts) etc but are watches with logos added to create a slightly artificial connection with the aspects of aviation they want to be linked to.
Perhaps this sounds odd but it’s the difference between a watch for professionals being chosen by the organisation and issued or just being linked to and sold to people full price?
Seems like a great reminder from your time on the 747 though.

Why not get something actually connected to the 747, like the GMT mentioned above.
I know Rolex can have a bit of an image problem but at least they have more of a connection to the 747 than a marketing department transfer on the dial.
Rolex also at least have a history of producing very fine watches, Bremont have a history of producing some very fine marketing. They are however, masters at putting transfers on dials and case back engravings attaching their brand to things.
Well, that is a first for me, Rolex being the right answer to a what watch thread

In terms of aviation connections I personaly prefer a Breitling over Rolex anyday. My son has his ppl and wears a Breitling emergency out of his two watches.
Regarding the Bremont brand, I have fancied one my self, some models look very nice.
Although some of there partnerships seem a little iffy, like the one with Norton motorcycles. As well as there founding story which comes across as a little bit of nostalgic bs. What with bi planes, France, vineyards and some farmer called Bremont.
