Hi,

Some brief context. Golf MK5 R32, a few weeks ago flagged 01130 - ABS Control Module, Implausible signal. Control module was sent to be repaired which it appeared to be. Had the repaired module put back in the car and has been great for a week. Then, today, all sorts of new faults flagged which appear to point to something but cant think what.

With faults like this, I would check the engine earth strap before anything else.

Not messed around with the car stereo have you?
Had a beetle with similar multiple faults showing and it was all down to the install of an aftermarket head unit.
Seems as though it affected the comms in some way.

What condition is the battery in?

I'd agree that the earths need to be checked carefully.

It sounds like some sort of CAN comms issue, so could just be that the ABS unit connector wasn't fully latched home when it was refitted.

As above, check this.

I had an Audi A3, 3.2 which is basically the same vehicle. It had a battery drain problem and would throw up all sorts of errors if started up with a less than optimal battery, including DSG gearbox and ABS malfunction plus loads of 'false' errors.

Charging or replacing the battery solved the problem.

Just to elaborate..... You need to check the voltage at rest, while cranking from cold, and when the engine's running.

It might be that the voltage drops drastically while cranking.

Interesting that you mention that, haven't touched the stereo but there is a problem recently where it just won't turn on at all. Perhaps others are also right in thinking it is an earthing issue.

Possibly yes, you can always fully disconnect the stereo and see what happens.
