I did I think:

I'm pretty sure I saw Nick Mason on Saturday evening. I also saw someone who I can't quite place - certainly an aging rocker - in the Classic car display (I have a sneeky pic I will post).

I recognised the McLaren F1 Numberplate from somewhere(Mac 1X) - wondered if it was Rowen Atkinson?

Funny you mentioned Matthew Pinsent.

I thought I saw him in one of the Tribune stands.

Also saw Stirling Moss & Nick Mason.

Yep, I think I recognised his helmet (!) in the Le Mans Legends race, but I don't know which one of his collection he was driving.

I think Nick Mason was driving an Aston, but I'm not sure if it was his own car. Apparently one of his daughters was racing in the Legends too.

Saw Amanda Stretton around the village on Friday afternoon / early evening as I recall, then on Saturday morning Dave Richards in a DB9 Volante going under the track towards the main entrance.

Friend of my Mum & Dad had his #68 TR2 in the legends race, it was being driven by Tony Dron.

The car raced at Le Mans in 1955 and was one of the 3 works cars that raced there that year. The driver binned it into a sand bank and it took him 90 minutes to dig the car out. Car finished last of the finishers.

Guy that owns it now (friend of M&D) bought it in about 1977 for £100.....it came with a dodgy MOT!

The tuscan roadster (only one in existence I believe) blew it's radiator in the village at 02:30am ish on Sunday morning. And who climbed out....

Mrs TVR herself - the Ruskie's bit on the side. Should have warned her TVRs still have a cooling problem in slow traffic. We offered beer to refill the radiator in true Le Mans style, but she sadly declined...

Not famous but bless her, does she now realise that a nice sensible maxed up fiesta would have been a better cruising car in those temperatures...

Had the strangest experience in the ACO club-house in the Village on Friday night. Saw John Surtees (at least I'm totally convinced it was John Surtees) buying a beer and a sandwich. Waited until he he had finished and very politely asked him to if he would sign my programme. He told me that he wouldn't and then his mate told me he wasn't even John Surtees !!! Felt a compete pxxx !!!

Strangest thing that's ever happened to me at Le Mans! Won't bother him asking him again, then...

I saw the guy out of the band faithless on saturday night - he also said 'with the race going on all night, he wouldn't get no sleep.....'

Incidentally, he looked totally battered - good lad.

How could I forget the 2 Panoz mechanics who wandered over to our tent for a beer! What completely top guys, full of stories and humour.

Shame they didn't get their car to the finish.
