Rev counter not working on my serp Griff 500. There’s 2 likely sources of problem. First is I’ve just replaced the dash and I might have left a wire loose. - Doubt it but possible.
The other possibility is I’ve just replaced the fuel return pipe and in doing so had to remove the o/s rocker cover. My question is does any of the rev counter wiring run inside the vee leading up to the dizzy? If so I might have disturbed something when mucking about removing the rocker cover. Anyone know which connector is involved?

On a Chim you will find a white/blue wire connected to coil negative, this goes back to the tach, via a connector behind the radio.
Colour may be the same on a griff, not sure about the connector.
check the coil area first.

I checked the wiring at the dizzy end and all was ok. Then removed the dash and swapped around connections of two of the three connectors and lo and behold tachometer working again. My fault when replacing the dash last week.
