We have hardwood/laminate in our house.

Lately I've felt as though the floor was softer/giving way, as well as sometimes my balance being off. I've noticed this walking around in the house..even standing in the bath when showering I've felt as though the bath was softer/bending where i stood. Asking others they said they don't notice anything the floors. Sometimes I've been stood/walking around in the kitchen/chopping on the counter top, and it's felt as if I'm hanging over a ledge. So maybe there's a balance issue

Not sure what it is.

Since lockdown came in I've worked frrom home. so haven't commuted (bus and tube), and will be for the rest of the year. When gyms closed my only other exercise was cycling which i do daily, and I've picked up doing walks. I thought to myself maybe I had gained weight however i'm half a stone lighter than before lockdown (but i feel fatter, so maybe I've lost some muscle and gained fat). Lack of lilfting weights has made me feel like my posture is odd and my back is weaker as sometimes I'm actively thinking 'wtf' and fixing my posture when i stand to what I remember it being.

I'm getting back into the gym..just wondered if there's actually some kind of issue there that I need to work on/rectify. the feet thing is probably the most concerning.

Maybe get your ears checked, as sometimes a problem with them can cause balance issues.
