Hi - can anyone who has fitted Michelin MP4S to a 991.1 GT3 RS confirm that I need the NO variant of 265/35 ZR20 99(Y) – 325/30 ZR21 108(Y)

Ive read so many stories about these tyres not being supported on the GT3 / RS (only supported on the GTS and below) for warranty claims. I think it varies from OPC?

I also want to move from Cup2s to MP4S as I have used them before and they have balanced performance from a practicality point of view.

It would be good to get a definitive answer.

In what way would a non N spec tyre on car invalidate the P warranty, if you wrote the car off with them on would your insurance company void the insurance .

Well you cannot renew a warranty, so will people take that risk on the 991.1 GT3.

If you had non authorised tyres on a P car then it won’t pass the 111 check for warranty renewal. In some cases I’ve read on a GT3 even other N rated tyres will invalidate it.

Yes, you are right, have sent P an email to clarify. It would seem P are forcing this upon people.

Just to be clear, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S is on the approved list for 991.2 GT3. Sizes 245/35 20 and 305/30 20. Not the answer to the question the OP asked of course, but relevant to any 991 GT3 owners.
