Sky go VPN

I'm going to France next week and need access to sky go to watch the Championship play off on Tuesday. My son and I are Brentford fans. Anyway I know I can get access to sky go via a VPN but what one should I use. Thanks

As said, Sky Go is now good for Europe.

(I've spent years using VPNs when on holiday...no there's no need, but no holiday either!)

As an aside, some other streaming platforms also check the time on your device. So, if you VPN iPlayer (I think it was that one) remember to change the time to UK time too.

Are you sure I can use sky go outside the UK? This must be a recent addition. Either way I can't miss the game on Tuesday so advice welcome

Yes, you can watch without VPN for 30 days. You then either watch with a VPN for 1/2 hour or get someone to log into SKY Go with a UK ISP.

Sometimes a VPN log in won't work. Recently Express VPN reset all their UK servers as I guess SKY had taken the ISP's and blocked them. They sorted it within 24 hours.

Now, to get BBC iPlayer to download using a VPN. It'll play but won't download.
