I'd say someone just got legged over. £406k is absurd. Not for me.

The flippers were trying to sell these at closer to a million. 400k still feels overpriced for a car that hasn’t earned its classic status.

someone did get a real bargain even at 406k plus premium, as that's a stunning car.

Interesting. As noted, these were advertised at twice this price recently.

What was retail?

Yes, at the launch of this model, 'from £650,000' was the price announced.
As always, I expect a few cost options were selected.

Have we now entered a new era of car flipping and collecting ?

I always thought these were ridiculously overpriced for a fake classic. The only reason the original Zagatos are worth anything is because most were so damm ugly no one bought them so they are super rare.

I can only see these going the same way as some of the sticker AMR specials in the immediate future.

Punters were told to buy these in order to be considered for a hypercar that AM had not actually built yet.. An old trick from the Ferrari playbook.

The days of these sort of cars appreciating is long gone and will not return for many years if at all. 33% drop is right and proper.

This carbon fiber upgrade makes it a little bit like a hearse with nice seats.

Incorrect.

It's truly hideous, tacky and vulgar... it even makes one of Afzal's creations look tasteful and understated.

Well then , for all those above opinions, one person didn’t agree with you all , and that’s all that matters.

I’d assume the purchaser is over the moon at that price.

Blimey - you’re not wrong! Higher miles I suppose, but that’s a lot of car for 30k.

both incredible deals - and plenty more to come I expect - as the old saying goes - try to buy when it is due to DDD (Death Divorce or Debt)

There has god forbid been a lot of one of those, and I suspect there will be a lot of the other two - either due to job loss, company bankruptcy, or husbands and/or wives having spent too much time with the ones they married during lock-down, and actually realizing they don't really like each other any more.

IMHO more bargains to come in the new year...

There’s loads on AT at that money and less. Not a bargain, just what they’re worth.
