Anybody got experience of both? And have an opinion they could share?
I’m going round in circles looking for something I can green lane on, I know that a 250 / 350 is the sensible choice, but I rode a 450 for 4 days in Morocco and liked it, but you seem to get more 530 for your money (circa £3.5k)
I can’t get over the money being asked for some enduro bikes, I’ve sold DRZ400 and GasGas 300 over the last 5-10 years and people seem to be asking £500 or so more than I sold them for all those years ago!

Neither, 350 4T or 300 2T. 450s too much.

Didn’t really get on with the 200 / 300 Gassers, so would have to be a 4T.

They’re not though, are they. They sell thousands.
It depends what your after, but generally a 450 will be more long legged, less stressed in use, a bit harder to turn and a bit heavier than a 2504t.

As for the 520 vs the 450, it’s probably true that because more 450s are sold and raced, they’re probably a nicer more developed bike. And the bigger the single, the more vibraty it can be.
But there’s no substitute for cc in some scenarios!

Personally, I’d have the 450 though. In fact, I have do have one. I wish I had the husky version though as I can’t get on with the rear suspension.

For any road work, the 450 is the way to go, soooo much easier on transits vs a 250
