Advice for a daft sod!
Discussion
Greetings o folks who know wwaayy more than I do
My lil car has gone to new pastures, sadly taken before her time
I need a new beasty pretty quick, Im limited on funds and ability to get about to find one (Do love that, need a car to buy a car heh)
Anyway, I have found what I think to be a have decent car from a what seems reputable place (A few people I know have said they were good....)
Its a 2008 Toyota Avensis, looks ok no weird sounds runs really good... only issue I have with it is on the previous MOT
Suspension component mounting prescribed area is corroded but not considered excessive n/s/r & o/s/r sills (5.3.6 (a) (i))
I only really have today to decide, as I am back at work tomorrow (gotta love long shifts....) as I said it feels good to drive, but I know very little in the way of cars.... this is the only Advisory on the MOT, clean otherwise....

Have you looked at the areas of corrosion noted on the MoT? How bad are they?
Do you have any photos of those areas you can post?
ahhh that would have been a good idea... no I did not and if Im honest I did not see it.... I checked around the wheel arches but I could not see anythingDo you have any photos of those areas you can post?
No one can advise you on that without seeing it, I wasn't aware of particular rust issues with Toyotas but it could be a bad bit of accident repair?
You need to either inspect it properly or get someone to look who know what they are doing or just find another car.
I don't meant hat to sound harsh if it does but its the best advice anyone can give based on what you have told us.
