Kangaroo leather - does it stretch too much?

Is this true?

Due to its stretch properties, kangaroo leather offers freedom of movement from the get-go rather than needing to break in over time like a cowhide suit does. However, stretching leather means creating space - and length - in the material. For that reason, a full kangaroo suit gets “bigger” over time, which results in a wider fit and a less appealing appearance over time.

Reads to me like the merits and pitfalls of Kangaroo leather are based in relation to it's reduced thickness rather than anything else.If you reduce the thickness, it seems pretty obvious to me it will be more supple and lighter, but will also stretch more?
In my experience (14 years leather industry) kangaroo is more elastic/easier to stretch than cow, but it shouldn’t stretch much further out. That said, bike leathers are rarely full grain cow hide, the surface layer isn’t leather so that will affect things. Provided you’ve sized down I’d expect either to stretch equally, the kangaroo just getting there quicker
