HOT footwell!

OK, so I know they do get warm.. Mine is already decatted which saves the whole burnt left leg situation.

However, I feel a lot of heat specifically around my feet (mainly left foot).. The aircon keeps me nice and cool but on a hot day I get out with really hot and sweaty feet!

Not sure if it's just me but it feels like there's more heat with the aircon on.. Its like the rear of the dash fills with heat and then leaks out around the gaps?

Oh, and the hot vent is closed and it really doesn't feel like the heat it coming from it.. Maybe I need to do the whole tennis ball thing in the intake thing.?

Can you feel any hot drafts or is it radiant heat? For Hot drafts you'll probably want to consider the tennis ball, for radiant heat have a look at the heat shielding in the engine bay/tunnel and in the footwell. As standard the interior insulation is non existent.
