We're renting a generator and an ice machine for definate next year. Have already sourced the ice maker. Won't we be popular!!!!
We took an ice maker this year and a HUGE coolbox - Costco.. Luckily we were in Houx, so had power ) Otherwise we'd have had to have squeeze a genny in somewhere..
Fridges can be powered by electric, gas or combo... possibly 12v as well.. Although they're a little pricey.
Can't wait for next year, just hope the Astons have aircon fitted..

Generators were everywhere on Houx Annexe. Out of order to keep them going all night, though. They do sort of shatter what peace there is and you get a permanent smell of exhaust fumes.
It might need to be Houx next year just to get away from the bloody things. We did yearn after a fridge, though.

We left our fridge there after it served us well I could not imagine that weekend in that heat without a fridge,
Next year we will get another from the local rag just before we go.
Reason I left it was I did'nt want to put it back in my M5!!!
(So hopefully the Pikeys had some ice cold p**)

Fantastic bit of kit, we ran one on gas from Monday to Monday in all that heat and it was fab. It held enough food for 6 of us easily and there was room for beer and wine as well. Don't bother cooling it before you go it'll cool quickly when you get there that way you can pack it full of camping gear on the way down as it does take up quite a bit of space.
Don't whatever you do mess around with electric coldboxes and chillers for Le Mans, traditionally they cool to around 15 degrees below ambient temperature and that isn't much help when it's 35 degrees outside.
