What’s going on with YouTube? My ipad has just downloaded the latest update and now each video is an entire page full on the homepage view??? Like this? Vvvv can’t see how to reset it...

Same for me.
One MASSIVE blurry thumbnail fills the whole screen on iPad.
I’d have to do about 25m of slow scrolling to see a few suggested videos now.
Also anyone within 100m can see my suggestions lol

Just came here to see if anyone else had the same problem.

It’s not to do with the version of the app as, in protest at how often an update for the YouTube app appears, I make a point of never updating mine. I reckon the one I run must be at least 4 months old now.

I’ve just got one massive thumbnail staring at me now. It may be needed on a phone sized screen but just looks stupid on a tablet.

Came here to check and see others have got in as well. Rubbish and as said, the thumbnails are not always great quality so you get some big blurry horrible thumbnail filling the screen. First Sky Q is ruined and now this.

Mine just changed while I was doing something else.
I thought it was a scaling / setting issue I pressed / upset myself.

I noticed there was an update in App Store, so I then initiated that. It said ‘Bug Fixes’ so I thought it would be fine.

Still broken though.

Have they pulled the update? I have a 2018 iPad Pro and the last youtube update was three days ago and its fine with no update pending.

Trying find the answer and this thread popped up, same issue for me on Android, ipad and laptop. Hopefully they get it sorted.
