Sweat rse problem - seriously, with serious opinions please
Discussion
I'm sure there will be many that will find this funny, and that's fine, so would I but nevertheless I have developed a problem as I get older and that is in hot weather I sweat everywhere including round my rse hole and i get sore. Really sore.
It's taken me a few months to work out the circumstances that cause it exactly but I've come to the conclusion that a combination of sweat and walking creates a chafing that consistently gives me a raw rse. It's only around my sphincter. I'm guessing it's the moisture, salt and rubbing through walking that does it. Generally it takes 2 or 3 hours to start. I'm normally mostly recovered by the next day if I have a shower as soon as I get home. But today, damn, as soon as I got in I was wedging the shower head up there - just don't tell the missus. It's going to be 30-odd degrees tomorrow. I won't be able to move when I get home!
I've tried moisturisers but frankly, walking about with the feeling of you've let one slip is a disgusting sensation and the moisturisers always wear off when the sweating starts.
I don't have hairy ass, otherwise I'd try shaving but ime in terms of my chest and sex, shaving hair off just increases rubbing not reduces it. If anything i'd say a lack of hair is part of the problem.
As far as I can tell the only solutions are impractical- washing every few minutes (impossible when you're out in the middle of nowhere for hours at a time), going o'naturel so my body can breathe and cool or having a special set of pants with a hole cut out where my sphincter is - definitely not an attire for a night out in Brighton!
So time to ask the PH'ers. Are there special pants you can buy that either reduce sweating/increase breathing or rubbing or both? A protective sweat resistant moisturiser?
I'm not overweight btw so it's not fat rub. I just seem to sweat more as i get order, particularly down below. I also sweat where by body can't breathe and driving around in an un-airconditioned van all day, sweating here is inevitable. I can tolerate heat fine, the rest of me dries out quickly in a breeze but I can't go mooning out the van window down the high street...
Help?

In the interim is there something you could wedge between your cheeks to let the air to it? Sounds a bit daft but would a couple of lolly sticks in a mesh give enough airflow without being too wide a gap?

Just don’t get knocked over and taken to hospital, you might have a job explaining it away
Just found and ordered some lanacane cream. Mainly because I can get it before work next week from tesco...
Just found about about something called anti monkey butt but it's like £50. Seems I'm not alone with this problem! I can buy special boxers for £10 a pair. Will be trying something like that next.
Some more reading suggests it may not be ass cheeks rubbing but wet clothing rubbing in that area. Tomorrow? I'm tempted to try masking tape!

Body glide could help you out in the short term. I used to use it for long distance races (marathons and stuff a little bit longer). It’s like a much thicker version of Vaseline but lasts a lot longer and provides much better relief from the friction that will be causing the chafing.
it’s about £12 for a stick (like a deodorant stick). Don’t apply it directly though as that would be a bit minging! Scrape the amount you need off the stick and apply that way. A little goes a long way. Definitely worth a try as an interim measure.

I suffer from an unusually sweaty arse and balls. Regular showering, fresh clothes and lots of talc help I find. (I mean loads, my balls look like bonbons). On days where I’m not out or at work I don’t use it to give my skin a break. What makes the problem worse is I wear jeans but if I were to wear a lighter trouser the problem is the sweat marks become visible. Anyway good luck.
As has been said Sudocrem helps, not much needed, just wipe it on and wipe it off but I think you need to look at your diet.
Anything your body finds difficult to digest will cause excessive bile acid to be produced and very slight seepage of this will cause your problem, excess lactose consumption is often one of the biggest culprit for this.
Also keep well hydrated.
