I went to his only UK gig in 28 years, and that was 10 years ago now I think.
I paid 350 for the ticket. When I arrived outside touts were selling them for 800 quid and just before I went in I heard a bloke say he would pay 7 grand!

Don't know if he got one, I certainly wasn't selling mine.

He's my favourite artist ever and will remain so until I'm safely dead. His music has meant more to me in my life than any other artistic avenue or performer.
I had waited 28 years for him to come, he did just one night and at the time it was vanishingly unlikely he would ever come back. It had also been a real struggle to get the ticket in the first place, rocking horse st ain't in it.

Not a chance in hell I was letting that go for 7k.
