Something 'Different' £20k 4 seats ?

Hi guys,
The time has come for a new motor (the missus getting one for work which gives me an excuse to switch up too!).
As per title, it needs to fall into the camp of up to 20k ish, a second car used a couple of days a week for day out, weekend away etc.
Needs to have 4 seats (so we can take the dog out), something a bit different (i.e. stepping away from BMW, Merc, Audi territory).
A special engine and sound are quite high up the list. (so 6 cyl and above)
Gearbox – no preference, but if auto then paddles and something of ZF standard or better to add a bit of fun
‘Running costs / MPG / maintenance less important as it will be limited miles (although something which we won’t need to re mortgage the house for if it goes wrong would be preferable).
Anything which will likely hold value would also be a huge plus although this wont be as an investment
Some ideas below keen to get your thoughts / any others I may have missed?
Coupes:
Granturismo (early 4.2)
997 (3.6 2 or 3.8s), I had a 987.1CS which I loved, although as per all forums concern over IMS, Scorign etc on the 997.1
996 C4S – probably the best to hold value
XKR – A mint condition 4.2 or an early 5.0
Monaro – with some cash to spare.
Continental GT – the ‘different’ choice. Luxury, torque, but high running costs.
4 doors:
Quattroporte (Have always loved these. Well sorted late 4.2 with ZF box, or early 4.7s)
VXR8 (raw, manual, relatively bulletproof)
XFR (alternative to the typical german marque)

I was also going to suggest a Cerbera as well. Although I did have to actually re mortgage my house to fix mine when it broke! 
It was versatile though and I used to get my Mrs/daughter/dog in it. When the going is good they are such an event to drive and live with for sure.
