Yes, that hehe

But seriously, sounds like a low frequency 'MOVE THE fk OUT OF THE WAY' type siren. I'm sure I've heard similar on UK/US vehicles....

Its a Turkish 'Aramas Electronic Siren'.

You can order from here:

https://www.armaselektronik.com

Or if you don't want that exact one, you can buy one called the 'Whelen Alpha' with 'Pulsed Airhorn mode' which sounds very similar.

When the firemen went on strike years ago and they called in the army with their green goddesses, I was standing on the pavement by Ilford Broadway when one of these venerable vehicles got stuck at the traffic lights behind several vehicles that refused to move aside. The siren was either unfamiliar or not loud enough - perhaps both.

A door at the back opened, a squaddie looked down the length of the roof, and yelled military fashion in a voice that must have carried to Manor Park:

"GERROUTOFTHEFUGGINWAY"

Without being a killjoy, the emergency services have made it very clear that they do not want anyone moving though red traffic lights or committing any other kind of motoring offence, however minor, to allow the passage of an emergency vehicle.

(Unless instructed to do so by a uniformed Police Officer)

It’s an interesting point actually.

Does a member of the armed forces have the same authority to ask cars to move the same as a uniformed police officer?

I’m going to say not, but I could be wrong.

I’m afraid the truth is very boring... I’m just very good with Google!

I looked up where the video clip was filmed, then looked up who converts ambulances and emergency vehicles in Turkey, then I looked up who supplied the emergency equipment to these conversion companies, and then I narrowed down the model of horn used.
