Separates - coming back to the scene - stream options

Hi,

I used to have separates when CDs were the main medium to play music. I'd like to get back into it with some second hand purchases for an Amp and Speakers. What's the best way to stream spotify?

I don't want to use my phone or computer really. I'd like something interactive and a remote control so I can flick through - like I did when I listened to CDs. Is that catered for today? I don't have a tablet but would consider buying one for this purpose.

I’d avoid Bluetooth , it’s not the best , look for a WiFi streamer that has Spotify connect . I just looked and amazon do a goodmans (remember them lol) one for £15 .
Spotify connect is great , you aren’t streaming from you phone directly, it just becomes a remote control, you can use a cheap tablet , old phone , anything really .
It will just plug into your amp and your done .
