Is a diesel Polo worth the risk for low-ish miles?
Discussion
Hi, I need to get a £2500-3000 Polo for my kids for when they’re back from uni. Their friends all live a good few miles away and the car would probably do about 5000 a year.
Price range puts me in crossover period between older and new Polo’s of 2008-2010 period. Diesels are cheaper and I’d rather not have one but it could mean new shape rather than old shape 1.4.
Is this a bad idea? Should I stick to a Polo Match 1.4 or is a diesel worth a go as it would do journeys minimum 5-10 miles
Any thoughts?
