Well after a great time in le mans I parked the griff up out side the garage when I got back and decided to remove the stripes and give her a good polish the next day, went to work the following morning looking at how dusty she was etc etc, :yikes: when I came home their was two large bird craps on my paint work :yikes::yikes: 3 hours later Tcut Polish F:censored:ing ba$tard things have ruined my paint work, their $hit has penetrated the laquer.
Anyone know of a substance other than a new paint job?

A lot of bird poo does this to your paintwork, strangely only on TVR's.

Time to get an air rifle me thinks.

Nope, happened to my old FTO as well. Live next door to a jack duckworth who keeps pigeons. Have learned to be very prompt de-sh1tting the TVR ever since.

It's becaue bird crap is alakaline (I think) and pretty strong and eats into the paint. Can cause weird cracking which looks a little like the GRP has gone funny.

Pigeons are essentially flying rats. Feel free to terminate without prejudice.
