Online Pharmacy

I have a couple of conditions that i need repeat prescriptions for, and have used Pharmacy2U for the last couple of years. They've largely been OK, but since COVID every prescription seems to be massively delayed (supply chain or their stocks, and then of course postage delays are separate but still evident) or in an increasing number of cases they just cancel saying they can't get the stock. I tried to complain to their support team the other day and they just ended the chat. They've lied and told me they sent emails that they had not, etc.

Does anyone have a better competitor I could use for dispensing NHS prescriptions and posting them out to me please?

yep just use your local chemist- most GPs have an online prescription service and you can nominate a chemist

FWIW we both have complex conditions requiring repeat prescriptions which we order on line from our surgery and which are delivered f.o.c. by a local pharmacy within a few days, currently within 48 hours. In eight years they have never, ever let us down on delivery.

i don't want to actually go to the chemist, is part of the issue. I just don't have time in my day to queue up behind all the old people for 25 minutes only to be told to go away for 15 minutes and then come back to queue up again.

yes i understand they do do that, but i thought it was only for people with significant conditions (mine is not) or where they need a lot of meds or are vulnerable etc.

You order your prescription from your GP via their on line portal, later that day / next morning the GP practice sends the prescriptions to the pharmacy, then you pick it up the next day ...

relating the tales of taking a script into the pharmacy for immediate fulfillment is , frankly, irrelevant.

as above is this not just for certain conditions or vulnerable people? Besides the one in my village isn't that reliable.
