Things you used to do pre CV that you’ve given up
Discussion
I was a keen gym goer but have enjoyed using an outdoor gym, walking, isotonic exercises etc.
Gyms are open but I don’t feel the urge to go - not because of a virus worry - I’ve simply moved on in the ensuing months.
What things have others given up? What habits have you changed during the pandemic?

Pub on a Sunday lunchtime. Local hasn't reopened. Gyms are open but I don’t feel the urge to go - not because of a virus worry - I’ve simply moved on in the ensuing months.

Gym. While I'm not overly-concerned about the virus, being in a room with sealed air-con and everyone puffing away on treadmills doesn't seem that appealing. I've taken up cycling and much prefer getting outdoors or training at home on a turbo trainer with Zwift when the weather is crap or I want to do a specific type of training.
I also don't travel for work currently. Travel will come back but not to the extent we had it previously. A lot of stuff we can do via the internet with video conferences where previously we'd fly out to meet people in person. Perhaps it lacks the personal touch but it's much cheaper for the clients and easier on our staff.

Going to a pub and seeing friends.
I don't drink so only went on the first Tuesday of each month to meet friends whilst sipping a horrendously expensive sparkling mineral water and perhaps one month in four having something to eat. The pub we met in is now for sale and the proposed new one has a 'Tapas Night' on Tuesdays so I guess I won't be seeing them so often.

You don't like Tapas then?I don't drink so only went on the first Tuesday of each month to meet friends whilst sipping a horrendously expensive sparkling mineral water and perhaps one month in four having something to eat. Commuting.
I always went to my clients. Even cherished the P&Q of a commute with an audiobook or spinning a digital disk.
But, TBH, I can't see the point when I can start work 90 minutes earlier and fritter my extra time away on PH over my second cup of coffee.....
Exactly the same for me, I'd commute into the City for 0745 and spend 90 minutes getting there. Do the same in reverse at 1730. Now I get up around 7, shower, get coffee and am logged in at the same time. Finish at the same time too and then I'm out of my office and into the living room! So much better. Changed my shopping habits so that I never have to go to a physical store again. This was happening for me anyway but has now accelerated.
Eating out, will be doing a lot less. Cooking skills have improved massively so will be barely doing that again.
Drinking - discovered I am in fact a functional alcoholic, so now will be giving up for good. That puts half the south east vodka distribution networks out of business
I really hope they keep the tip booking system in place. Its really easy and great to pull up to a really short queue, in and out and gone. Before it was a lottery of pulling up to a queue for 50 minutes, or 5 minutes.

Likewise, about the gym, I have really missed it. I have returned and I'm enjoying it because the numbers are severely restricted. The 40-minute time limit is annoying but I just go more frequently.Gyms are open but I don’t feel the urge to go - not because of a virus worry - I’ve simply moved on in the ensuing months.

ETA - working out outdoors is all fine while we have great weather, it's October onwards that it'll become a problem.

Yes, likewise. I've always been a heavy drinker but it's got out of control
At lockdown, I decided with the money saved on commuting to invest in a Philips PerfectDraft. Lethal if you have little self-control, it's quite easy to finish a 6L keg of Jupiler in a night. Not a lot really.
Working from home lasted about a month, which despite being a HUGE fan of pre CV and even advised business on making more use of it, I detested myself, although this was mostly down to having kids running around, not enough room etc. If it became permanent I'd have to build and garden office.
Gym, yeah, my usual MO is to use the Gym Oct-Mar but in the lighter months I'm cycling 2 evenings a week and once again at the weekend. I had planned to use the gym all summer, I've found one that suits me perfectly, they've reopened but I'm enjoying the bike too much to go back. Oct will be the stark choice between riding in the cold, wet and dark with lights (off-road, MTB) or go back to the gym.
Can't say we did a lot of eating or drinking out pre-CV, cinema was a once a year thing at most.
One thing we seem to have given up is a promise to each other than once Covid was over we'd do more things, get out, see the world, experience stuff etc. Not 'now' in this sort of, lull whilst we wait for a possible vaccine or for the virus to 'do a SARS' and evolve into a better virus (one that doesn't kill it's host). I tested the water a home over the weekend about a possible trip to Australia for us, I spent a year backpacking 20 years ago there and I'm keen to go back, relive a bit of my youth and show my Wife this amazing country, she paused for a moment, and said "not of it will delay us getting an Orangery at home"... so yeah, bye bye no found sense of adventure and hello old desire for more soft furnishes and a never ending list of improvements to a home that becomes more of a self-imposed prison everyday.

Good for you.
I've never been a big drinker, I liked a bit of binge drinking in my 20s but I never used to drink at home so when we got married, had kids etc and it wasn't so easy to get out, I pretty much stopped by default.
We started having 'Date Night' at home a few years ago, it's all quite tragic and boring, but Saturday night we'd get the kids in bed, I'd make a meal and we'd have a few drinks / watch a film.
I noticed, especially early into lock-down with all the stress of sudden possible death, redundancy, breakdown of society and all that, a few drinks became a few more and instead of Saturday night, it would be as soon as I finished work on a Friday, then Saturday and of course we'd still have a bit of wine / beer left over Sunday so I'd drink that too. I've stopped the Sunday drinking, I'm got quite an addictive personality.
I've always been surprised how many people are probably a more reliant on booze than they might think / admit to themselves, most of my friends seem to end every working day with a beer or two, which if they're not careful becomes three or four, worse still, they seem unable to relax at all without it now.
