House dropped delivery on pavement

It's hard to explain the whereabouts of this but looks like a house near me that has a public pavement running along the back of there garden fence is doing a patio job and decided to leave the whole order of tiles, there must be about 45cm to walk round it on the pavement.
One or two days around a weekend job I could accept but this has stayed the same for over two weeks now, its also amounting rubbish on top of it.
They have a two car drive where this could had been dumped.
Whats peoples opinion on this?

Have you knocked the door and asked them how long it is going to be there?

Yet another example of you get what you pay for with building work. It isn't just the job its the associated behaviour which dictates price (well not eveytime).
This is out of order and not legal afaik. If someone trips etc they will have a valid claim.
i do paving and sometimes we will get stuff delivered to the pavement as there's no other realistic option.....but its gone as quick as possible.
if its a proper footpath which is in proper use and not just one down a little cut de sac then i will drop the stuff on my own trucks so we just don't block the pavement.
Never surprises me just how much some people don't give a f
k about others, even when it damages their reputation.

Sounds like its a resounding in favour of this being unacceptable. It's griped me for the last week now, I did think they might be waiting for the temperature to drop a bit?
I've reported it to Mr council as fly tipping, I'm not talking to the owners, it's not down to me to inform them they shouldn't be so fking ignorant and inconsiderate and they could quite easily move this load onto there front porch.
LOL at putting "free to a good home" down, they look like expensive tiles and im its quiet round here so they are lucky nobody has caught whiff of this locally.

This is my thought about why I don't think its acceptable too. Job it hardly big based on the garden size. This is out of order and not legal afaik. If someone trips etc they will have a valid claim.

It’s not so much an issue of fly tipping but the storing of materials on a highway (which includes the footpath) would require a permit from the council. Council Highways is normally managed by the county council with a few exceptions where the borough council is the highways authority.

I sympathise with the OP.
Couple of years ago, my neighbour had their back garden landscaped - including knocking down a brick wall. The people doing it stored all of the rubble etc. on the road - it took up about the size of an average car - with no boundaries around it, no lights. Despite the neighbour having a driveway half of which is free.
This is on a road with limited parking (you can only park on one side of the road because it's fairly narrow).
I ignored it for a week - until it suddenly got even bigger when they dumped a load more stuff on it.
I knocked on the door to ask when it would be moved - but the neighbour threw a tantrum and literally behaved like a child ("I was going to get it moved this weekend, but now I'm going to tell them to leave it there another week!").
At that point, I told her I would call the council. It was moved the following day.
