Can someone make sense of the line below?

X=SIN(X)/COS(X);A1=X;X=X*X

Which order are the three expressions calculated?

Apart from the missing " ; " at the end it's left to right,
they're 3 separate expressions,
Just written on one single line to confuse you

X=SIN(X)/COS(X);
A1=X;
X=X*X

Thanks, I last wrote some Fortran in 1984 so don't remember such subtle details.
