anyone running Train Simulator 2020

Just downloaded this and need a bit of help, on various things

Why do my drive grind to a halt after about 10 mins?
How do i specify the time of day for driving
Do i need to be the 'fireman' as well on the steam locos

or are there hidden instruction pages i cannot access lol

grinding to halt, I'm. suspecting you're not acknowledging the AWS warning via the Q button which causes the trains emergency brake to kick in and bring it to a halt.

time of day is pre-set in the career/standard and free roam scenarios, only adjustable in "quick drive"

for steam engines, you can be fireman, but equally you don't have to be, its a select-able in, settings -> gameplay -> check/uncheck "auto fireman" as desired

It certainly helps to note the AWS i am trundling along ok now
BUT
One other point Driving Tornado From BMO to SOT I cannot figure out while i get wheelslip it does't stop when i got through the full size ( and miniature) procedure of closing regulator moving cut off to 0 or 4 percent, sanding, and applying brake.
It just sits there like the rails have been oiled

Any tips?
